im going to tell you abit of knowledge about Ip stuff.

1. some computers have a dynamic ip and some have a static ip this means if it is dynamic it changes every time you start your computer were as if its static it wont change.

2. a way to change your static ip.
if you do not have a router you can type this into DOS/Command Prompt:

ipconfig /flushdns (this will refresh ur DNS)

ipconfig /release (this will disable your internet connection and thus changing your ip address)

ipconfig /renew (this will enable your new connection)

IF you do have a router this is the way i change my IP address without unpluging it and plugging it back in.
first i connect to my router using 192.168.1.1 but some may be 192.168.0.1 or may be even different to that, you can also use http://configuration.adsl/ with some routers. next i log into admin which is usually User:admin Pass:admin.
then you go to internet conenction and click disable then click enable 1 min later or some say "Change IP" or "renew ip".

3. you can use thses above steps to reset rapidshare and megaupload.

4. if you type netstat into Dos/Command Prompt it will give you a list of ip's conencted to your computer and hosts. if you use netstat -n it will t ell you more about the Ip's and if you type netstat -a it should tell you everything you need to know.

5.Using Proxys will slow your internet connection (obviously) and if you use them for Rapidshare Or MegaUpload, most people have used them already and they are used very often.

6.If you are looking for a proxy i suggest Hide Ip Platinum (latest version) although these proxies are used very often and you wont be able to use them for rapid or mega.

A Proxy Will Change Your Ip Addres By intercepting and redirecting all network traffic, regardless of its content.
this means your ip will be hidden and replaced by your proxy ip.

7. an IP is a usefull pice of information because you can carry out pinging and DDOSing using it. to ping a domain or Ip open DOS/CP and enter:
ping (ip/Domain)
eg. ping google.com or ping 127.0.0.1

this will ping the requested machine 4 times.
you can also use the command:
ping (ip/domain) -t
this -t function will kepp the ping going untill you manually stop it.
you can stop pinging by using CTRL+C.

8. Your Local Ip Address For All Computers Is : 127.0.0.1
Your router Ip most of the time is:192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
An Ip what starts with 192.168. is a network Ip address and it given to computers/printers/servers on your local network or connected to the same router as you.

9. Avoid giving your Ip address out and your Ip Can be logged on any website, form, forum, msn (viewed with netstat) and much more so be careful.
